New and Used Suzuki Cars
It was way back in 1909 when Michio Suzuki laid down the strong foundations of Suzuki. This means then that the Japan-based company is close to celebrating its 100th year in the automotive industry, making it one of the oldest and strongest automotive manufacturers in the arena (thanks to their used Suzuki cars).
Little do people know that when Suzuki started out his company at the young age of 22, he set out to develop and produce his pedal driven wooden loom.
Over the years, Suzuki grew from being a local automotive manufacturer whose focus was merely on two wheeled vehicles to the international company whose horizons have certainly expanded significantly thanks to their new and used Suzuki auto's.
It was Michio Suzuki's very own son, Shunzo Suzuki, who designed a motor that could be attached easily to any bicycle. The motor was able to power the contraption through a chain. However, Shunzo Suzuki designed the vehicle to allow the rider to still use his pedals even while the engine was running. The rider could also disconnect the bicycle's motor if required. Not long after that, Shunzo Suzuki was given subsidy so that he could continue doing research in motorcycle engineering. During 1955, the company officially became Suzuki Motor Co. Ltd. They then ventured into designing and creating new and used Suzuki cars, releasing its first vehicle known as the 'Suzulight' not long after.
Over the years, Suzuki has considerably grown with its modern product line that includes the 2006 new / used Grand Vitara. If you want to have that mixture of ruggedness and sophistication in your SUV, then you should consider opting for this vehicle as either a brand new or a used Suzuki car purchase. What's more, the price is quite reasonable - especially for the used Suzuki Grand Vitara, which can be picked up at bargain prices.
Just recently, Suzuki released the XL7 with key features that is extremely impressive. With an all wheel drive system that can be electronically controlled, this model also comes with a 5 speed automatic transmission and manumatic shift mode. Moreover, it also employs driver and front passenger airbags SRS (Supplemental Restraint System), which are very advanced and weight sensing. There are also side curtain airbags for all of the SUV's rows. With leather appointed interior and leather wrapped steering wheel that comes with built in audio controls, sophistication is definitely the name of the game for the XL7. For those movie buffs, then one must get the XL7 for those long interstate weekend trips with the family. The XL7 comes with DVD navigation with a rear seat DVD entertainment system that employs wireless headphones.
In the second hand car market, the used Suzuki Swift is probably the most popular model for buyers. However, also gaining popularity is the used Suzuki Alto and the used Suzuki Jimny. Other popular buys include the used Suzuki Grand Vitara as mentioned above. With all of these models available, it comes as no surprise as to why buying a used Suzuki car is a sensible option. The purchase of any used Suzuki model, especially the more recent trims, will make for a decent investment.
