New and Used Saab Cars
Sweden's pride Saab is one of General Motor's subsidiaries, building new and used Saab cars that are eco-friendly, fuel efficient, offer excellent aerodynamic technology and outstanding innovation.
It is interesting to note that Saab used to create aeroplanes and the technology and expertise gained from this pursuit were also used in the development of land vehicle models, such as the new / used Saab cars that are being built by the company today.
Saab started innovating and competed with car industries in the manufacture of new & used Saab automobiles using the annuity gained from producing jet planes at the end of World War II. The first prototype design released in 1947 (Saab 92001) was inspired mainly by designers inclined to aerospace models. Features and car profiles similar to jet planes (wing shape), including an uncompromising car frame and the use of two-stroke combustion engine, which adds up to Saab cars' fuel efficiency - further confirms the nature of its designers. These engines, regardless of age, provide even used Saab cars with excellent fuel efficiency.
The first car series made by Saab was well received by the public where more than 200,000 Saab 92's were made between 1949 and 1956, which proved to be a golden year for the company.
The introduction of the new and used Saab 93 model was one of Saab's well remembered cars where most innovative features were installed including a 3 cylinder engine, tubeless tyres technology - a technology that adds up to users' road safety, especially when punctured.
Saab innovation was pushed to its limit in 1956 when it created its first sports car, the used Saab Sonnet. It reached a record breaking 160 km/hr speed and commanded a rather respectable price, too, which meant that only a select few were able to buy. Despite its grandeur, it never created public hype and only 6 items were produced and sold. However, Saab immediately recuperated when they manufactured almost 600,000 of the new & used Saab 96 models. Production lasted for more than 2 decades (1960-1980).
Saab stood the test of time and is continuously innovating in order to meet the demands of the public. Current new or used Saab brand models are made up to showcase features such as fuel efficiency, flexible capacity and unmatched engine performance.
Within the second hand car market, used Saab cars are still ever popular. Fuel efficiency, even for used Saab cars, is top notch. Driving comfort, regardless of whether it is a brand new, top of the range Saab or an older used Saab model, is guaranteed.
