New and Used Renault Cars
Along with other French carmakers comes Renault, which, aside from regular new and used Renault cars and vans also produces heavy weight vehicles such as tractors, buses and new / used Renault trucks.
The company has been well respected for the introduction of car designs equipped with security features that are usually not considered or provided in other vehicles. Even older used Renault vehicles still come with excellent security features.
Renault has been around since the 19th century (founded on February 25, 1899), although for the record, they started producing cars the year before. The company was brought to inception through the brilliance and leadership of Louis Renault, a son of a well-known textile magnet in France during the 19th century.
The Renault Voiturette, the first car ever produced by the company, was sold for the amount of 3,000 francs to a prominent figure in France who just happened to be their father's friend. Louis knew about the positive effect of this transaction and immediately after the first car was sold, the apparent road advertising of the vehicle catapulted the company to financial success. The advertising used Renault companies' branding and it was a huge success.
The company had had great contribution in the success of France during World War I. Aside from venturing into producing buses, public taxis, cargo trucks and revolutionary automobiles, they engaged in the development of several airplanes that were used during the war, ammunition and even military tanks such as the famous Renault FT-17 designed by Rodolphe Ernst-Metzmaier.
The company went on to develop and manufacture new and used Renault car models from the Monasix, the 1956 Renault 4CV, the compact car Renault 5 and the Renault Rambler - a car made in partnership with Rambler.
Currently, Renault markets several car designs in four categories: the new and used Renault Compact, Family, Multi-purpose Vehicle (MPVs)/ 4x4 and Sports Cars. Renault UK has seen an increase in the production of compact Renault cars so it started producing several of its kind to attract a wider range of consumers to purchase new and ones that would still maintain people buying used Renault cars in the future.
The Clio Campus, Twingo and the Clio are just are just some of Renault's compact cars. The Clio Sport Tourer, Megane Hatch, New Laguna Hatch and the New Laguna Sport Tourer for Family Cars are some other well recognised names. In particular used Renault Clio's are one of the nations' favourite car purchases. In terms of the Renault Sport, these are considered great sales in their own rights, considering their ingenious design, reliable technology and unmatched comfort.
In terms of the second hand car market, used Renault vehicles are extremely popular among buyers. In fact, buying a used Renault represents excellent value given that reliability and safety are given priorities. Also, a used Renault car will mean access, albeit delayed, to some of the most magnificent cars ever produced by France.
