New and Used Nissan Cars
Nissan is actually an abbreviation for "Nippon Sangyo" and the company name was not used until the 1930s. Its new & used Nissan automobile division was then created years later in 1934. Nissan not only manufacture new and used cars, they also manufacture new / used Nissan vans, new and used Nissan SUVs and new & used Nissan pick-up trucks.
The company has partnered with many foreign auto manufacturers in the past and this influenced them in the way that they produce and design their vehicles.
Their 1969 Nissan Skyline GT-R Hardtop is among the many popular models released to the public and is still popular as a used Nissan Skyline purchase. It is also among the pioneering batch of Skylines that Nissan has produced since. The 1969 used Nissan Skyline GT-R Hardtop is a 2 door car with a 4-S SOHC 2 valves per cylinder engine. The fuel system is a 1 Nikki Carb and it does not have a catalytic converter.
The 1969 Skyline is a strong car. Its maximum output is 105 BHP at 5,600 revs per minute, while its maximum torque is 110.6 lb-ft at 3600 revs per minute. The coolant used is water and it can go as fast as 99 miles per hour (160 km/hr). The engine is located at the front and its transmission is manual with 4 meshed gears; something quite advanced back in 1969. Nissan created various models of the cars; new and updated used Nissan cars, both front wheel drive and rear wheel drive (the 1969 Skyline was designed to be a rear wheel drive). In fact, even today a used Nissan Skyline is extremely popular in the UK second hand market.
Another outstanding Nissan design is the new & used Nissan Silvia LS Coupe. This is also a two door vehicle just like the 1969 Skyline. Its fuel capacity is 60 litres and its top speed is 175 KMH, beating its older kin by a good 15 kilometres per hour. And just like any efficient car, the Silvia LS Coupe uses water as a coolant.
The specification of the Silvia LS Coupe's engine is mighty impressive. The displacement is 1770 cc, its bore-stroke ratio is at 1.08 and its compression rating is 8.5. It also has a catalytic converter, which the 1969 Skyline GT lacks. It is another strong car with a maximum output of 105 BHP at 6,000 revs per minute and a maximum torque of 109.1 lb-ft at 3,600 revs per minute. The engine is positioned longitudinally at the front and the steering wheel uses a re-circulating ball to add better handling of the car. The car has a 5 speed manual transmission and it is a rear wheel drive.
In today's market, used Nissan cars are very, very popular to buyers thanks to their reliability. In fact, used Nissan vehicles are one of the most popular around. With so many models to choose from it comes as no surprise.
