New and Used Hyundai Cars
Hyundai, translated in Korean, means "modernity" and is pronounced similar to "Sunday". Hyundai started with just one man, Chung Ju-Yung, son of a peasant farmer who launched Hyundai in 1947 at the age of 32.
From humble beginnings, the company has grown into a global network of research and development facilities - particularly into their new and used Hyundai cars. Putting everything together, it has made its global presence. Today, Hyundai is the sixth largest car manufacturer in the world and has the largest integrated car manufacturing facility in the world.
Achieving the top slot in three distinct vehicle segments is a first for the company. This is based on the 2007 Strategic Visions Total Quality Index (TQI), which measures total vehicle satisfaction among new car owners.
Another success is in the Daily Stars' '4x4 Car of the Year', the new & used Hyundai Santa Fe, which was also voted as the 'Best Buy' at the What Car Awards in 2007. In other achievements, at the 2006 Green Fleet Awards, the used Hyundai Getz 1.5 litre CR TD won the 'Transport for London Private Sector' Award.
Moreover, the JD Power's Initial Quality Study (IQS) announces that Hyundai is the highest ranked non-premium automotive brand for their new and used Hyundai cars. In 2005, the Sonata captured one of Popular Mechanic's inaugural Automotive Excellence awards by winning in the safety category. Therefore, even dated used Hyundai Sonata cars will be of excellent safety standards.
Hyundai creates new and also used Hyundai cars that win, and following the launch of the new i30, the company continues to reap awards. All new or used Hyundai model lines follow the touchstones of the Hyundai philosophy: the "3 Is" - individuality, innovation, and inspiration. 'I' becomes the very foundation of the Hyundai brand. Its mission is to deliver quality, reliability and excellence and Hyundai is proud of this difference.
Hyundai offers the leading car program for disabled people. The mobility program enables people who receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance to acquire a new or used Hyundai car at a preferential price. Many of these new and Hyundai models can be ordered on a 3 year Contract Hire Scheme with features, such as power assisted steering, automatic gearbox and height adjustable driver's seat as standard. Hyundai also has a special discount scheme available, which offers savings to blue parking badge holders off the normal on the road prices.
Hyundai boasts of its city car - the irresistible i10. It has the longest wheelbase in its class and with three rear seats once can really pack more in to the i10. Used Hyundai i10's have become especially popular in the second hand car market sector. A central locking system, 14 inch steel wheels, dual front and side airbags, electric power steering and a chrome radiator grille are just some of the many superior features of this excellent vehicle. It is no surprise then that the Hyundai i10 is one of the hippest cars in town.
As noted above, the used Hyundai i10 has been making waves for second hand car buyers. However, other used Hyundai cars have also been equally as popular, which further proves just how highly people regard this motoring company.
