New and Used Audi Cars
Germany has housed many car manufacturers, including Audi AG; the creator of new and used Audi cars. The company is known for its premium luxury car designs as well as creating efficient and reliable used Audi cars.
Since it first began production during the initial years of the 20th century, the company has effectively served as a symbol and emblem of quality, performance and reliability.
Audi was founded by car engineer August Horch, who was ousted at the original car company he created called Horch. After the court decided that August could not use his own family name for the company name (due to a trademark infringement), the name Audi was adopted for the new car-making firm. The term 'Audi' is actually the Latin equivalent of 'Horch,' which both mean to 'Listen.'
In 1932, after the end of World War 1 in Europe, Audi agreed to enter into a union of four giant German carmakers, including DKW, Wanderer and ironically, Horch. It was then that the Auto Union, as the merger of four was called, adopted the current Audi emblem. The symbol features four overlapping rings representing each of the four companies that merged (a company that has gone onto to produce excellent new and used Audi autos. New Audi's for the financially willing and used Audi cars for those who prefer to wait a while before buying).
After years of operations, the Auto Union evolved and restructured to become Audi NSU Auto Union AG. It was during the new Audi era that the brand's first new car under the Audi name was launched, the Audi 100 in 1968. Succeeding luxury car models followed, including the Audi 80/Fox, the Audi 50, the racing models Audi R8 and Sport Quattro, and the current models; the A3, R8 and Q7, among many others. The company continues to create quality assured new and used Audi vehicles that have taken a grip on the market like no other.
The external features of new and used Audi cars are excellent. In fact, Audi was among the pioneers in producing fully galvanised car exteriors for corrosion prevention. All-aluminium cars ensued, with the launch of Audi A8. So whether a new or a used Audi is purchased, this issue is taken care of.
Performance wise, Audi cars makes use of four wheel drive and front wheel drive vehicles. That was a far cry from the traditional and usual rear wheel drive used by most cars, including arch rivals BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Audi was also the first to amaze the market by engineering its cars with integrated longitudinally front mounted engines. Performance wise, even a used Audi that is many years old will still deliver only the best driving experience.
The company adopted its own Audi FSI technology that facilitates high-performance and economical engines. The combustion chambers have been effectively optimised, the fuel injection improved, airflow channels have been altered and doses have been recalibrated. The result led to superior car engine performance that only Audi can provide for its new and used Audi vehicles.
The company is no doubt living up to its corporate tagline; Advancement through Technology and have therefore been able to impress the global car market. That is a logical reason why so many consumers use Audi cars. In fact, the company has taken great strides in cornering the market for their used Audi cars and have become one of the leading brands in the industry. The fact that so many people are willing to purchase a used Audi vehicle shows that excellent engineering has been undertaken. Therefore, whether buying a new or used Audi car, optimum performance is guaranteed; new for freshness and refreshment and a used Audi for a finely tuned engine.
