The word ALFA in the name initially stood for Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobil, which when translated into English reads Lombard Automobile Factory. To date, Alfa Romeo is selling seven different car models, which are mostly small and compact cars. The models being offered are the 147, 159, GT, Brera, Spider, 8C Competizione and the MiTo. The company even has a line up of what it is going to launch in the near term. Such proposed car models include the 149, 169 and C Crossover.
